Peter Gambin, Independent Board of Director

Peter joined the board of Black Lake Ventures in August 2017. He has almost 45 years experience working with First Nations people. For 29 years he worked in several First Nations Communities throughout Northern Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories as a Manager for The Hudson’s Bay Company and North West Company. Since 2005 Peter has been employed by Peter Ballantyne Group of Companies where he has opened and managed their Petro Canada gas stations on Urban Reserves, in his current position of Managing Director he oversees the operations of their three locations.

10 years of Peter’s career was spent in the Athabasca, which has left him with many fond memories and a connection to the region. Elsie, his wife of 40 years, and their children are members of the Black Lake First Nation.
